Prince Andrew 'was a spoiled brat with a revolving door of women', ex-guard says

Prince Andrew has been dubbed a ‘horrible spoilt brat whose one big thing was sex’ in a scathing new documentary.

Multiple critics of the Duke of York went on the record to slam him for US channel Peacock’s Prince Andrew: Banished.

Former royal protection officer Paul Page told how he and other colleagues were shocked at the number of women Andrew was supposedly sleeping with after he got divorced from Sarah Ferguson in 1996.

Page, who was jailed for a multi-million pound property scam in 2009, said: ‘We used to have a joke that he should have a revolving door in his bedroom.

‘The amount of women going in and out of there, it was just literally every other day someone would be coming in to see him … a different one every time.’

Others painted the same picture, with journalist Helen Kirwan-Taylor saying: ‘The talk of the dinner parties was he couldn’t keep his trousers closed.’

Similarly, royal scribe Phil Dampier said: ‘Andrew has never smoked or taken drugs or drunk alcohol but his one big thing is sex.’

Page, who was a royal body guard from 1998 to 2004, also claimed Andrew once called an officer a ‘fat, lardy-a**e c**t’ because he would not let a woman in to see him – for security reasons.

He claimed: ‘Andrew shouted at the top of his voice: “You listen to me, you fat, lardy-a**e c**t. If you don’t let my guest in, I’m going to come down there.”‘

‘You would think a member of the royal family would have some kind of decorum and respect for the staff that are there and paid to protect them and look after them.

‘With Andrew, there’s just none, none at all. He’s just a horrible person. He’s a bully.’

The documentary also goes to town on Andrew allegedly being raised as a ‘spoilt brat’.

Page claims Andrew kept between 50 and 60 teddy bears on his bed, which had to be arranged in a specific order or the Duke would ‘shout and scream’.

A laminated picture of the bears was reportedly kept in a nearby drawer, which staff were apparently expected to use to make sure the stuffed toys were placed in the right way.

The film tries to explain this by saying Andrew was Queen Elizabeth’s favourite.

The 62-year-old was Her Majesty’s third child, meaning he was born at a time when the Queen had reportedly gotten into a comfortable routine as the monarch, meaning she had more time for her children.

Andrew’s name has been disgraced since Virginia Giuffre accused him of sexually abusing her three times when she was just 17, and the victim of a trafficking ring orchestrated by billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Duke has always strenuously denied the accusations.

Andrew settled out of court with Virginia in February, agreeing to pay her an ‘undisclosed sum’.

But Spencer Kuvin, who represented nine of Epstein’s accusers, said Andrew’s legal headaches may not be over, as Maxwell still has up until 2023 to cooperate with prosecutors and possibly make new revelations.

Andrew’s representatives declined to comment.
