Billionaire financier Epstein killed himself in prison last month while awaiting trial for underage sex trafficking. In her first interview since his death, the 35-year-old yesterday recalled her alleged time with Prince Andrew. Speaking to US broadcaster NBC, alongside five other victims of Epstein’s, the American – now known as Virginia Giuffre – said of the Duke: “He was an abuser. He was a participant.”

She told how she was flown to London where she was pictured with the prince, 59, inside the home of Epstein’s alleged “madam”, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Discussing the first of three occasions she claims to have had sex with Andrew, she said: “The first time in London, I was so young.

“Ghislaine woke me up in the morning and said, ‘You’re gonna meet a prince today’. I didn’t know at that point that I was going to be trafficked to that prince.

“We went out to club Tramp. Prince Andrew got me alcohol, it was in the VIP section, I’m pretty sure it was vodka. Prince Andrew was like, ‘Let’s dance together’ and I was like, ‘OK’. We leave club Tramp and I hop in the car with Ghislaine and Jeffrey.

“And Ghislaine says, ‘He’s coming back to the house and I want you to do for him what you do for Epstein’. I couldn’t believe it.”

Recalling the alleged sexual encounter, she told NBC: “He wasn’t rude or anything about it. He said ‘thank you’ and some kind of soft sentiments like that and left. I just couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe even royalty were involved.”

She added that Epstein paid her £12,000 the following day. Last night a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace told the Express: “It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts.

“Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”

Based in London’s Mayfair, Tramp is described as the “go-to place for actors, celebrities and showbiz personalities”.

The nightclub boasts the motto: “What happens in Tramp, stays in Tramp”.
