Prince Andrew on lockdown from palace after royal insiders fury at ‘car-crash’ interview
Prince Andrew’s “car crash” interview on BBC Newsnight saw the royal face criticism and pressure to explain everything he knows about Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged sexual slave operation. Panorama recently aired a detailed interview of Virginia Roberts again accusing Prince Andrew of having sex with her, something the Prince strongly denies ever happened. Following this interview, CNN royal commentator Victoria Arbiter explained that there were rumours circulating that Prince Andrew wanted to conduct another interview countering her claims.
She added that palace officials would strongly be fighting against this and advise that he only speak to the police for any more interviews.
The royal expert told the Morning Show: “I will be very surprised if Prince Andrew enters the US.
“Virginia said that she was forced to have sex with him on three separate locations one of those being New York.
“Now, lawyers according to Panorama, have been working on behalf of five other Epstein victims have said that they have pleaded with the Prince to come forward and give his testimony.
“These victims say Andrew witnessed them giving massages to Epstein and other guests.

“They have actually prepared subpoenas.
“So let’s say Prince Andrew does step stateside, those subpoenas could be issued to him.
“He could challenge them or refuse to respond to them.
“But then we start entering all kinds of diplomatic challenges, this is uncharted waters for the Windsors as they have never had international legal wrangling.
“I think for the foreseeable future Prince Andrew is going to be staying in the UK.
“Having said that he has said that if law enforcement authorities come to him he is prepared to sit down and help them with any questions they may have.”
The Morning Show hosts then added that there had seemed to be “radio silence” from the palace following Virginia Roberts Panorama interview.
Ms Arbiter replied: “There have been rumours that Andrew wants to give a second interview because he wants to respond to Virginia claims.
“That would be a very bad idea given how the last one went.

“Prince Andrew, dare I say it, he is not bright or media-savvy enough to handle interviews of this magnitude.
“He thought that the interview had gone incredibly well.
“So if everyone is doing their jobs behind the scenes the palace are not going to let him near another camera.
“The best thing he can do is sit back quietly and wait for his next interview to be with law enforcement authorities, those are the only people he needs to be speaking to at this point.”
