Pretty little town famous for its Christmas markets that feels frozen in time
A picturesque village that has been used as a filming location is a must-visit for Christmas market lovers.
Grassington is a small limestone village in the Yorkshire Dales National Park which sits on the River Wharfe.
During the festive season, the village is lit with sparkling lights and holds traditional markets for locals and visitors.
This year, there will be markets in the cobbled village square on December 2 and 9. On offer will be handcrafted gifts and artisan goods like candles, baubles and scarves as well as seasonal treats like mulled wine and roasted chestnuts.
There will also be a Santa’s Grotto, elf workshops, live music such as handbell ringers and Morris dancers for visitors to enjoy.
