‘Poor Prince Harry!’ Duke of Sussex ‘has such sad eyes’ in latest video, biographer warns
Invictus Games: Prince Harry pays tribute to key workers
Royal author Angela Levin made the comments on Twitter after the Duke of Sussex – who has quit royal duties for a new life in America with his wife Meghan Markle – appeared in a video for the Invictus Games earlier this week. Harry’s biographer tweeted: “Poor Harry. He has such sad eyes.”
In a video on Tuesday, Harry announced the Invictus Games has been postponed for a second year due to the pandemic.
But the royal – who founded the global sporting event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women – insisted its “mission will continue to shine through”.
The Invictus Games, which was due to be held this summer in The Hague, has been moved to spring 2022.
Harry appeared in the video with past and present competitors, with each person saying a sentence.

They also all paid tribute to key workers on the coronavirus front line, saying: “We’re with you”.
Harry said: “For so many around the world, the Invictus community included, Covid-19 has changed our expectations, hopes and plans.
“But our unwavering mission is one bound by resilience and community and that mission will continue to shine through between now and spring 2022, when we hope to see everybody in person again in The Hague.
“For now, we are continuing to plan programming, opportunities to connect safely during the foreseeable future, and ways to infuse the spirit of Invictus in your own communities over the coming year.
“We’re excited to share more soon.”
The event in Holland was originally due to be staged in May 2020 but it was already postponed once due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Organisers considered holding the event for sick, wounded and injured veterans and serving military later this year, and even digitally, but wanted to preserve the experience for competitors and provide them with certainty.
Harry was inspired to launch the Invictus Games after attending the Warrior Games in Colorado in 2013.
