Codi-Jayne Picking has vanished since she was seen leaving a property in Durrington, Wiltshire, in the early hours of the morning. Wiltshire Police have “concerns for her welfare” and are urgently trying to trace the pregnant 17-year-old.

Codi-Jayne was last seen wearing black leggings, a black vest top and a black fluffy cardigan, the force said.

She is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, with light brown/blonde hair 

In a statement released today, Wiltshire Police said: “Concerns are growing for her welfare and we would urge anyone who has seen her this morning or who has any information about where she is, to please call us.

“Codi-Jayne, if you see this appeal, please call someone to let them know you are safe.”

“Anyone with information should call 101/999 quoting log 47 of today (24/08).”

As news of the appeal quickly went viral, dozens of people shared it and posted their hopes that the teenager was found safe and well.

One wrote: “Beautiful girl, go home or to a safe place.”

Another said: “Sending love hope she comes home soon.”

A third wrote: “Hello Codi, if you are seeing this, please come home.

“I know I don’t know you!

“But if you ever need some mummy advice, and someone to talk to I am here.

“I am a young mum too! You are so strong and beautiful! Come home.”

The circumstances surrounding the teenager’s disappearance or who, if anyone, she is with are unknown.
