Eight people have died after a small private plane crashed into a two-storey office building in Milan.

Fire crews rushed to the scene near a subway station in San Donato Milanese, with several cars in a nearby car park also set ablaze following the collision.

Police said all eight people on board – six passengers and two crew members – were killed.
