A plane has crashed off the coast of Swansea, Wales. The light aircraft ended up upside down just off the coast of Porthcawl Pavillion. 

One witness, James Brown, said on Twitter: “A plane has crash landed on the shore near Porthcawl Pavilion.

“I watched it coming low over the common and then the engine started spluttering and this is the result.”

It is not yet known what happened to the pilot of the aircraft.
