Pippa Middleton stuns at royal wedding as she watches ‘old flame’ marry Lady Gabriella
The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa was joined by her husband James Matthews for the royal event at St George’s Chapel. She wore a pretty blue dress teamed with a headband, in a style often worn by Kate. Pippa and James left their son Arthur, who was born last October, at home.
Pippa’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton were also seen arriving for Gabriella’s big day, as well as brother James Middleton with his girlfriend Alizee Thevenet.
It is not known if Kate will attend as Prince William, who is president of the Football Association, is making an appearance at the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Watford this evening.
Gabriella, who is 52nd in line to the throne, is marrying financier boyfriend Thomas Kingston.
Pippa is rumoured to have dated Thomas back in 2011.
They have remained on friendly terms, with Gabriella and Thomas attending Pippa’s wedding in 2017.
Pippa also made an appearance at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s big day last October when she was heavily pregnant.
And she was a guest when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot almost a year ago.
It comes after Pippa opened up about her baby in her Waitrose magazine column last month.
She said: “Starting my son Arthur swimming at four months old has given him confidence and enjoyment in water.
“He’s now six months old, and swimming is one of our favourite activities.
“The exercise helps guarantee sound daytime sleeps, and the movement has improved his digestion… Water activity is a great form of exercise you can do with your baby.”
The ceremony will begin at noon, conducted by the Dean of Windsor, the Right Reverend David Conner.
The Queen will lead the royal family at the wedding but the palace has not confirmed which other members are attending.
