The gunman behind the death of Olivia Pratt-Korbel has refused to surrender himself to police.

Merseyside Police has confirmed five new arrests in relation to two out of the three recent gun crime murders in Liverpool.

But no further arrests have been made in relation to Olivia’s killing and the gunman remains at large.

‘My message to him remains the same’, Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen said today.

‘We will not rest until we find you, and we will find you.’

Names have been provided to officers and ‘a number of positive lines of enquiry’ are currently being explored.

DC Kameen added that the 35-year-old man who was the original target of Monday’s attack remained in hospital for treatment.

He said: ‘Merseyside Police, working with its partners, have caused that male’s licence to be revoked.

‘He’ll be returned to prison once his treatment has been finalised.’

DC Kameen also said the man who was with the 35-year-old at the time of the shooting had been identified.

Speaking from Merseyside Police Headquarters, officers used today’s press conference to provide updates on the last week’s horrific wave of ‘callous’ crimes.

They also urged anyone with information to come forward.
