Olivia Pratt-Korbel killer has £250,000 bounty on head, claim insiders
CCTV footage of Thomas Cashman shooting victim
Thomas Cashman, convicted last week of the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel, has had a £250,000 bounty slapped on his head by drug lords concerned he will spill the beans about their activities. The 34-year-old, who will be sentenced today, is facing life behind bars, and is also linked to three other unsolved murders.
Insiders have told The Sun there are fears within the underworld community he will turn informer in return for an easier time in prison.
Gangsters want to silence him for good, with some also wanting revenge for the other killings he is being linked to.
Cashman was convicted of shooting the dead dead at her Liverpool home in August, 2022 as he pursued fellow criminal Joseph Nee when he sought refuge in Olivia’s house.
One insider said: “The figure being spoken about is £250,000 to silence him – kill him.
“His knowledge and testimony could cause a world of pain for some very big criminals who do not want their activities being looked at.
“He has nothing to lose – he is cornered. There are lifers who will be mixing with him in months and years to come who will not think twice about carrying it out.”
Cashman was convicted at Manchester Crown Court last month after a former lover testified against him.
He has spent months at HMP Strangeways in Manchester.
