Nothing EU bureaucrats dread more than having Brexit Party army of MEPs says NIGEL FARAGE

Trust is gone from politics and our political class is conspiring against the people. Nowhere more so than in negotiations with the European Union. ‘Our’ team have spent the past three years stitching up a deal which favours the EU and betrays the British people. It is time those leading the talks believed in Brexit and Britain. Instead the negotiations have been fronted by a prime minister who backed the establishment’s Remain campaign, and run by civil service mandarin Olly Robbins. He’s the Remainiac who, a BBC fly-on-the-wall Brussels documentary revealed, wants to become a Belgian after Brexit. Little wonder that we have ended up with a proposed deal which reads more like a treaty imposed on a country that has just lost a war. The Brexit Party says enough is enough. If we win the European elections, our MEPs should play a significant role in the Brexit talks.

Those standing for the Brexit Party are the most qualified group of candidates in memory – a far cry from professional politicians who live in a Westminster-Brussels bubble.

On Thursday you get the chance to vote for people who have achieved something in their lives and have the skills to take on the EU and win.

In June 2016, 17.4m people voted to Leave the EU.

No ifs, buts or deals were mentioned. And we were promised, in the glossy Remain propaganda booklet posted to every household, that ‘The Government will implement what you decide’

With me on the negotiating team, let me assure everybody, leave will mean leave.

There is nothing the EU bureaucrats dread more than having an army of Brexit Party MEPs standing up for Britain.

And let’s be clear what I would negotiate for. We want to leave the EU on WTO terms and trade with the world. We want to take back control of our laws, borders, money and fishing waters. And we won’t pay the £38 billion ransom demanded by the EU.

Don’t let them tell you that support for the Brexit Party on Thursday will just be a ‘protest vote’. It is far more than that. It is vote to honour Brexit, and to uphold democracy. Every vote counts in our battle to change politics for good.
