LBC host Nick Ferrari spoke with Insulate Britain protestor Tracey Mallaghan on the eco groups methods. Mr Ferrari raised the point that the protests on the M25 and on roads had prevented a driver from getting to a home to insulate it. Ms Mallaghan argued it was not just about one home but all of them.
Mr Ferrari also added that people across Britain agreed climate change was an issue but strongly disagreed with the groups methods.
Mr Ferrari said: “What gives you the right to cause severe injury or death?”
Ms Mallaghan said: “This is what troubles me, Nick.
“You say everybody is aware of the climate crisis and the situation that we are in but then you say things like that which says to me you don’t quite understand how drastic things are.”

The caller replied: “One home isn’t going to save us.
“We need all of our homes done at pace, we are in a crisis.”
While laughing Mr Ferrari reiterated that if you close the motorways you are preventing insulation being installed.
