Andrew and Paula Hancock bought the Monopoly Millionaire ticket in 2019 when they popped to a petrol station to get some dinner for moggy Shortcake. They have now bought a fish and chip van and sell the food near their home in Boughton, Notts. 

Andrew, 49, said: “You could say I’ve been ‘fishing’ for the right venture. I love how food brings people together.

“I hope this business is a focal point for people.”

Paula, 43, added: “One lady said it was the best thing to happen to her village in over 20 years. I really feel we serve more than just fish and chips.”
