National Lottery reveals the luckiest numbers which could help you win
The most-drawn numbers for the EuroMillions are revealed ahead of tonight’s huge £112 million jackpot.
The National Lottery has told Metro.co.uk which balls have appeared the most over this year so far – so it may help you make the winning selection.
To win the jackpot in the EuroMillions, players must match five main numbers and two ‘lucky stars’.
The main numbers which have appeared the most are 34 (drawn 16 times), 44, 35 and 23 (all drawn 12 times), 33 and 21 (drawn 11 times).
The most-drawn ‘lucky stars’ are 10 (drawn 21 times) and 11 (drawn 17 times).
Many of these numbers are chosen by players because they have some kind of special significance.
For example, the number 44 in astrology is considered the ‘angel number’, and its importance goes back thousands of years. In ancient Egypt, it was known as the ‘abundance spiritual number’ and represented the gateway to a higher state of being.
Chinese tradition considers three a lucky number, so that may be why 33 has come up near the top.
‘Lucky stars’ 10 and 11 also spell good news on the football pitch – with Jack Grealish and Jérémy Doku for Manchester City, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Højlund for Manchester United, and Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli for Arsenal.
According to past National Lottery winners of £1 million or more, it is a roughly half and half split between whether choosing your own numbers or getting a ‘lucky dip’ leads to winning big.
But of course, if you choose the exact same numbers as lots of other players, it means there are more people to split your potential winnings with.
If you do pick the right digits to scoop tonight’s £112 million jackpot, it will make you the 12th richest UK National Lottery winner ever.
It would make them richer than singer Dua Lipa (worth an estimated £75 million) and rapper Stormzy (worth an estimated £26 million) combined, according to The Sunday Times Rich List 2023.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said: ‘The jackpot on Friday night is unbelievable! We all look for ways to find a bit of extra luck.
‘National Lottery millionaires constantly tell me they are seen as a lucky person – and some have even been asked to bless other players’ tickets or pick their numbers for them.
’My team and I have our fingers crossed for all UK players. We can’t wait to meet the next big winner and are on stand-by with a bottle of bubbly to hand, to support them as they start their life-changing journey.
‘Good luck, whatever your favoured numbers are.’
Players generate £30 million each week for National Lottery-funded projects, including hundreds of small projects in local communities, supporting the growth of women’s football and more.
Tickets should be purchased before 7.30pm tonight to be in with a chance of winning the jackpot.
