Most supermarkets are open between the hours of 7am to 11pm, which may or may not change for the bank holiday weekend.

For those stores which decide to observe the bank holiday, revised hours fall between 8am to 7pm.

Morrisons will operate on a reduced schedule for the next bank holiday.

Regular Morrisons stores and counters will open from 8am to 7pm.

Morrison cafes will open at 8am and close at 6pm, while petrol stations will open from 7am to 9pm.

What will the weather be like this bank holiday?

The Met Office says weather will be wet and cool, with intermittent rain showers from Sunday to Monday.

The forecasters said: “Temperatures are likely to be a little below average for the time of year.

“The changeable and rather cool weather is likely to continue through the half term week.”
