The Mona Lisa is one of the most celebrated paintings in history, but da Vinci’s masterpiece is in need of something of a renaissance among British tourists.

UK holidaymakers were asked to name the worst attractions in Europe, with the 16th century portrait topping the list of biggest disappointments.

EasyJet spoke to 2,000 British tourists who revealed that landmarks in Berlin, Brussels and Rome also failed to meet their expectations.
