Three-year-old Jasper is a brown and white short-haired tabby and has been missing since August 17. His devastated owner, Charlotte Massey, believes her nosy cat jumped into a Sharps furniture delivery van while it was parked on their street.

She told Worcester News: “He always jumps in my husband’s work van, so it is a strong possibility he jumped into the delivery van that was on our road the day he went missing.”

Ms Massey has contacted the furniture company who informed her the van’s next two deliveries were in Kempsey and Worcester, a two-hour drive from Jasper’s home in Wiltshire.

In a desperate attempt to find her beloved tabby, Ms Massey has started a social media campaign and put posters around the local area.

Jasper has distinctive markings with a white patch around his eye, a white chest and white paws.

She said helpful residents have been on the lookout and there have been a few potential sightings around Worcester, but all were confirmed not to be Jasper.

Ms Massey is begging everyone to keep their eyes open and asks if anyone sees him that they take him to a vet so they can check his microchip.

A volunteer for cat charity Frome Cats Protection told BirminghamLive: “Jasper is deeply missed by his family. The children and his brother cat Joey are pining for him especially.

“It would mean everything to the family to find Jasper as they are absolutely devastated and heartbroken

“If anyone sees him, please try and take him to a local vet as Jasper is chipped and registered lost with the chip company.”
