Mike Tindall caught staring into space after boozy night out with Zara
Mike Tindall has been caught staring into space during the Coronation ceremony in Westminster Abbey after a boozy night out with his wife Zara Tindall. The former professional rugby player was out until the early hours of the morning with Princess Anne’s daughter until around 2am.
Mike Tindall, 44, was spotted staring upwards into the Abbey’s grand ceilings as he sat with Zara, 41, two rows behind Prince William and Princess Kate.
The night before, the pair had been pictured on a night out in Central London ahead of today’s Coronation.
The couple enjoyed a large meal at Oswald’s in Mayfair with other senior members of the Royal Family.
Also in attendance were Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Prince Andrew. It has been reported that Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and the Dukes and Duchesses of Edinburgh and Kent were also present.
After leaving at 11pm, the Tindalls reportedly headed to the private members’ venue The Arts Club.
The venue is thought to be a highlight for wine connoisseurs, and a place where guests can either buy wine or cellar their own.
Reports suggest they left the club at around 2am and were spotted looking for a taxi to take them home.
A witness to the proceedings told the MailOnline: “After leaving Oswald’s they carried on their evening partying at nearby the Arts Club where they left at approximately 2am.”

The witness added that the Tindalls were “stumbling in the street while taking in all the Coronation bunting before getting into a taxi home”.
Oswald’s, the site of the pre-Coronation dinner, is owned by British entrepreneur Robin Birley who has another connection with senior members of the Royal Family.
Mr Birley also owns and runs 5 Hertford Street, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had their first date.
Mike Tindall was dressed in stylish regalia for the occasion turning up to the dinner in a navy blazer and trouser combination.
Despite their late night, the Tindalls were still able to make it to Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey where they observed the crowning of King Charles, a ceremony in which Zara’s mother, Princess Anne, plays a pivotal role.
Princess Anne is the Gold-Stick-In-Waiting. As part of this role, the Princess Royal will be in charge of the king’s personal safety.
She will lead the grand royal procession from Westminster Abbey on its return journey to Buckingham Palace.
Princess Anne has been given the role by her brother as a thank-you for her unwavering support and loyalty.
