Mia Tindall causes chaos as she tackles dad Mike and tries to steal golf clubs at match
As mum Zara Tindall, Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest granddaughter, looked after Mia’s younger sister, Lena Elizabeth, Mia was seen to run rings around her father. The five-year-old was spotted tackling the former England rugby player and attempting to hitch a ride on his back. Mia could then be seen doing cartwheels as Mike tried to take a shot, before truing to steal the golf clubs off him moments later.
Several pictures of the event show Mia on the back of her dad, as mum Zara watches the golf tournament.
Mia can later be seen on the course as she tries to take a swing herself.
The young royal wore a spotty top and shorts while enjoying the sporting occasion.
As Mike entertained their eldest daughter at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales, Zara was seen pushing a pram with one-year-old daughter Lena in side.
Earlier this month Mia was spotted having an enjoyable day out with her mum at the Barbury horse trials.
But instead of hitching a ride on her dad’s back, Mia secured a piggy back ride on her mum’s back.
She then went on to bounce and perform somersaults on a bungee trampoline.
Mia often attends her mother’s horse trials, enjoying the trial at Gatcombe Park in Stroud earlier this year where she was snapped eating ice cream and gallivanting with her cousin, eight-year-old Savannah Phillips.
The two young royals were seen to give one another piggy back rides and race up and down the field.
Zara’s mother Princess Anne also attended the March trials.
Zara and her children do not have royal titles, as Anne, the Queen’s daughter, decided against giving her own children titles, despite being offered them by the Monarch.
As Zara does not have a title herself, no title was automatically given to her children.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who christened their son Archie in a private ceremony this weekend, have also decided not to give their child a royal title.
Despite being seventh in line to the throne and the son of a prince, Archie is not a prince himself.
As Harry’s first-born son, Archie should receive the title Earl of Dumbarton, one of Harry’s subsidiary titles – but his parents chose not to bestow this upon him.
This was a deliberate choice by his parents, as they wish to keep Archie’s upbringing as normal as possible.
