A Met Police officer will by suspended after an unarmed man was shot dead in London, according to reports.
Chris Kaba, 24, died in the Streatham Hill area of the city after a car chase on September 5.
Huge demonstrations have been held over the weekend to protest against the shooting.
The Mirror now reports that a Met Police officer involved in the incident will now be suspended.
Metro.co.uk contacted the Met for further details.
The force referred itself for investigation over last Monday’s incident, which involved specialist firearms officers in Lambeth.
Officers had stopped a ‘suspect vehicle’ following ‘tactical contact’ around 9.51pm.
Hundreds marched on Parliament on Saturday demanding justice for the 24-year-old.
They held signs with slogans such as ‘no justice, no peace’.
Previously, Mr Kaba’s father told MailOnline he was ‘heartbroken’ at the loss.
He added: ‘Chris was the eldest of three brothers, he’d been hoping to study at university.
‘He had a girlfriend and was looking forward to being a father in a few months. He was expecting a little girl in November… He said he was looking forward to helping her start talking and walking.’
