Samantha Markle “feels” it was Meghan who took the decision to step back as senior royal. The half-sister of the Duchess of Sussex appeared on ITV’s This Morning today to discuss the ongoing royal crisis together with Meghan’s relationship with her estranged father, Thomas Markle Snr. 

Asked whether she believes the bombshell statement released last Wednesday was a joint decision of Meghan and Harry, Samantha said: “I am feeling as though it was her decision, because she wasn’t happy with the criticism that was taking place publicly.”
