Meghan’s political ambitions to become ‘clearer’ by 2024, claims Tom Bower
Royal expert says Meghan can’t be a ‘terminator’ in politics
Meghan Markle may enter the political arena in the next few years, a royal biographer has told Daily Express US.
The Duchess of Sussex has not formally announced any intention of throwing her hat into the ring, but there has long been speculation about a political run, with many citing her life spent campaigning.
Tom Bower, author of “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors”, believes Meghan may try enter the political fold in the next few years.
He told Daily Express US: “She will use her status to promote her ambitions.
“I think it will become clearer in a year or two when the children are a bit older whether she goes into politics.”

Should Meghan choose to run for office, the royal biographer reckons she’ll be eaten alive.
“The trouble is she’s got a thin skin and doesn’t like criticism, and she can’t cope with two or three cameramen following her,” Mr Bower claimed.
“So she isn’t going to do very well as a politician.”
His comments come at a critical juncture for the Sussexes.
Harry and Meghan’s partnership deal with Spotify worth £15million came to an end last month, leaving many royal observers wondering what their next move will entail.
There are growing signs they are shifting their focus away from all things royal.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are rumoured to have spent a whopping £3million on the movie rights to Carley Fortune’s best-selling novel Meet Me At The Lake.
In True Royalty’s Nick Bullen estimation, the pivot augurs a political turn for Meghan.

He told Fox News Digital: “Now, I think you’ll see them concentrating on their individual brands to try and reclaim some of the ground.
“I think it would be fascinating. Imagine a world in which she does make it to the White House. [Prince] Harry is the first husband.”
He continued: “There’s a state visit, and what happens then if Meghan is hosting [the British royal family] at the White House? You’re going to want a front-row seat for that, aren’t you?”
For now, at least, the political conversation will revolve around the 2024 race for the White House, where Donald Trump is expected to lock horns with sitting President Joe Biden.
