Meghan’s baby Archie to have NORMAL childhood ‘doing tons of crafts and playing games’

Meghan 37, and Harry, 34, welcomed their first child into the world on May 7, and want the little tot to let loose and revel in activities in order to create fond memories. A royal insider told People: “I see this kid being creative and doing tons of crafts, playing games. “We all grew up with those activities, and just because this baby is going to be a royal doesn’t mean he won’t do all that fun stuff.”

Meghan, who grew up in Los Angeles, and Harry, under the intense spotlight in the UK, enjoyed contrasting upbringings but share an understanding of the scrutiny modern-day royals are under.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already put measures in place to cherish those precious early years.

This spring Meghan and Harry moved out of the world-famous Kensington Palace and into the secluded Frogmore Cottage, in the grounds of Windsor.

Despite ongoing reports of a rift, which sparked following Sussexes move to Winsdor, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William met Archie for the first time yesterday afternoon.

However the pair went alone, deciding to prolong the wait for Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1, to meet their new cousin.

It is thought the timing was too late for the royal children, as Kate and William visited Archie in the evening following their royal engagements.

Daily Mail royal correspondent Rebecca English wrote on Twitter: “Just to confirm that William & Kate visited their new nephew, Archie Harrison, at Frogmore Cottage after Prince Harry returned from Oxford.

“Their children weren’t with them, however, so it will be a little while yet before George, Charlotte and Louis meet their new cousin.”

Prior to the visit of his brother and Kate, Harry attended a children hospital in Oxford.

Upon arrival at the Barton Neighbourhood Centre, the Duke was showered with cute gifts for the seventh-in-line to the throne, including a tiny teddy bear.

Harry spoke to mothers whose children have been battling cancer at the hospice and shared intimate details about how he has adapted to life as a parent.

The Duke of Sussex said he could not imagine life without Archie and joked how he kept him awake throughout the night.

Meghan and Harry’s son Archie was born just nine days ago at 5.26am, weighing 7lb 3oz.

When introducing the little tot to the world, Meghan described her son as having the “sweetest temperament”, and movingly said Archie and Harry were “the two best guys in the world”.
