Meghan pushed away Harry’s kiss at basketball game ‘like he was a kid’
Meghan and Harry on the big screen at LA basketball game
Meghan Markle treated Prince Harry “as you would a child” when she blocked him from trying to kiss her as they appeared onscreen at a basketball match in LA, a body language expert has claimed. The couple were spotted in the crowd at the NBA match between the LA Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies among a group of star-studded fans that included Kim Kardashian and Adam Sandler. At one point during proceedings, Harry and Meghan appeared on the Crypto.com Arena’s jumbotron – the giant screen hanging from the top of the venue.
This brought loud cheers from the thousands of fans in attendance at the match, with the Sussexes laughing off the moment.
Harry then leaned in for a kiss with his wife – customary on the big screen at sports events in the US – but a giggling Meghan appeared to block his attempts.
Harry appeared unfazed, still sporting a beaming smile as he enjoyed his night out.
But body language expert Adrianne Carter – known as The Face Whisperer – said Meghan handled her husband as if he were Prince Archie or Princess Lilibet.

She added it appeared the prince was happy to play up for the crowd and camera that was on them, whereas the former actress was more “shy”.
The body language expert told the Daily Star: “Meghan is aware of them being on the screen before Harry becomes aware. We see her give a little almost shy wave.
“Harry leans in for a kiss, but she blocks him from doing that by holding his arm as you would a child to stop them from doing something you don’t want them to do.
“It’s almost as if she’s determined to not play for the cameras. Harry is happy to play along with the cameras and would have kissed her if he’d been allowed.”
The rare public viewing of Meghan and Harry together over recent months comes after billionaire heiress Kayla Rockefeller claimed the former actress’s popularity in the US has fallen.
The 23-year-old shared her insight into how Meghan and Harry are now viewed by Americans, conceding she wouldn’t want the the Duchess wearing her new Kayla Jaclyne jewellery line because she “couldn’t take that chance” on such a contentious figure.
She also claimed the opinions among Americans over the former actress and podcast host are split, suggesting Meghan’s popularity in the US could be on a downward slide.
Speaking at the launch of her new jewellery line, the heiress was asked if she would be comfortable with Meghan modelling her new designs.

She told MailOnline: “That would be controversial. As a new jeweller I couldn’t take the chance. I mean, I could but people are so 50/50 [about Meghan].”
This was the first time Harry and Meghan have been seen in public together since they starred in their own six-part documentary series, which premiered on Netflix last December.
It was also their first public outing since it was confirmed Harry would attend the Coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on May 6, but that Meghan would remain at home with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
This came hours after a beaming Duchess of Sussex, 41, was seen introducing her long-time friend and photographer Misan Harriman via video link onstage at a Ted event.
Meghan, whose long brown hair looked sleek over a plain white top, praised Misan’s “unmatched eye for a good photograph” and noted that he’s captured “many meaningful milestones for me and my family”.
Snaps include the black-and-white picture announcing the couple’s second pregnancy, where they posed barefoot in their California garden.
He took another photo to mark Lilibet’s first birthday.
