Meghan Markle’s ‘move to USA’ to face sabotage by ‘opening terrible wounds’ says expert

Meghan Markle’s relationship with her father has proven to be strained as he has repeatedly spoken to the press about their lives and distance. While on ITV Lorraine, royal expert Dan Wootton explained he believes Meghan and Harry are set to take a US trip to California, where they could take up part-time residence. The Lorraine host added this could be an opportunity for Meghan to reach out and see her father.

However, she added that this could be a bad idea as their reunion could reopen old wounds.

Mr Wootton agreed while noting that it was good that the royal pair were taking a break away from the UK spotlight.

Lorraine said: “Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, so what is going to happen to them?

“Because you know I think they should take some time off.”

“Are they going to do that?”

Mr Wootton replied: “What I have learned is that after six weeks in California they are considering a potential part-time move there.

“We could be looking at a situation where they might spend great swathes of the year in the US.

“Now this hasn’t been decided yet.

“They will have to work out location, work out exactly where they want to be.

“But the suggestions are very much California because that is, of course, where Meghan’s mother Doria is.”

Lorraine added: “Okay, and if she goes to America she could under the radar go and see her dad.

“He could then terribly open old wounds.

“It would not be a good thing to do.”

The pair added that though Mr Markle is in Mexico it would not be a long journey to then attempt to meet with daughter Meghan.
