Samantha Markle says Prince Harry needs ‘counselling’

Meghan Markle’s half-siblings will unveil a series of new family tapes of the Duchess of Sussex in an upcoming bombshell interview.

Samantha Markle and brother Thomas Markle Jr will be joining forces with dad Thomas Markle on Sunday to send an “extraordinary message” to their estranged half-sister in their last video appearance ahead of the Coronation.

In their “last ever interview” before the momentous occasion, the trio said they will be sharing exclusive family videos with the world to provide further insight into Meghan’s life before becoming a royal.

Announcing the upcoming broadcast, Channel 7’s Taylor Auerbach wrote on Twitter: “WORLD EXCLUSIVE: This Sunday on ⁦@7NewsSpotlight – Meghan Markle as you’ve never seen her before.

“For the first time, the Markles unite with an extraordinary message on the eve of King Charles III’s coronation. These hidden tapes will stun the world! Only on ⁦ @Channel7.”

In a promotional video of the interview, a VoiceOver can be heard saying: “The world has never seen Meghan like this, the homecoming queen.”

Footage includes clips of a young Meghan parading around a convertible with a tiara and a prom dress.

The three Markles could be seen reviewing the footage together on a sofa, Samantha laughing alongside her father and brother.

Samantha, who is currently hoping to challenge the Duchess of Sussex in court for some of the claims she made about her, harshly criticised her half-sister in one section of the preview: “She’d still be a waitress if it wasn’t for dad.”

And as footage of Prince Harry and Meghan’s engagement outing plays, she comments: “They’re really unhealthy for each other. It’s a toxic relationship.”

The Duchess’s half-brother Thomas, who has been the least vocal of the Markle family since Meghan joined the Royal Family, warned the contents of their interview could have significant repercussions.

He said: “We’re not going away. This is going to change everything.”

And in what the voiceover described as a Thomas Markle Sr “deathbed plea”, the former lighting director can be heard saying: “How can I fix this?”

The interview will air on Channel 7 Spotlight on Sunday, April 30 and will also be shared on YouTube.

Meghan has been estranged from her dad since before her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.

Thomas was originally scheduled to fly to England from his Mexico home to walk his youngest daughter down the aisle.

But after details of an arrangement with paparazzi emerged, the Palace announced Meghan’s father would not be attending the wedding.

The King ultimately walked his daughter-in-law down the aisle of St George’s Chapel. The Duchess is believed not to have seen her father in person since before the ceremony.

He has since repeatedly urged Meghan to agree to a meeting and to allow him to spend time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana. The two royals have never met their maternal grandfather face-to-face.
