Ms Gavankar’s comment was broadcast by a new US TV documentary. ‘Meghan and Harry Plue One’ was shown on CBS for the first time last night. A number of Meghan’s close friends and associates took part in the programme.

Speaking about Meghan’s parenting Ms Gavankar asserted: “I think Meghan is going to be strict.

“Not in some sort of strict way, but she’s an incredibly practical person.

“She’s going to run a tight ship.”

Meghan gave birth to her first child at London’s Portland Hospital on May 6.

A recently released birth certificate records her occupation as “Princess of the United Kingdom”.

The child, whose name was announced two days later, holds both UK and US citizenship.

Ms Gavankar added: “She’s going to be such a good mother.

“I think she’ll be very low maintenance, hands-on, the way she would’ve been had she not married into the royal family.

“I’m sure the baby is going to be raised clean and green.”

Also appearing in the documentary are makeup artist Daniel Martin, who is known to be close to Meghan, and Hollywood star Jessica Alba.

However Meghan has been accused of orchestrating her friends’ appearances.

Speaking to The Sun a royal insider commented: “Our belief is Meghan has been aware of this TV project for at least the last month and hoped that certain allies and friends spoke out.”

Buckingham Palace denies the claim and insists Meghan was not involved.
