Meghan Markle warned Trump ‘could eat her for breakfast’ in TV showdown

Meghan Markle has been brutally warned Donald Trump “could eat her for breakfast” if she accepted a challenge from the former president for a live TV debate.
The 77-year-old presidential election 2024 frontrunner stated his desire to go head-to-head with the Duchess of Sussex in a debate.
Trump is keen to confront Meghan over how she allegedly treated the late Queen Elizabeth II when she was still a senior working member of the British Royal Family.
Royal biographer Angela Levin said Meghan “might” want to go face-to-face with the presidential election 2024 frontrunner.
However, she told GB News: “Trump could eat her for breakfast, but she might want to do it if she is serious about being a politician.
“If she wants to be a politician, you have to win arguments, but I think underneath she has a thin skin and she doesn’t want to be attacked by him.”
Trump had dramatically replied “set it up” when asked on US radio programme The Recount whether he would sit down with Harry and Meghan.
He told host Huw Hewitt: “Let’s go do something. I’d love to debate her. I would love it. I disagree so much with what they are doing.”
The bad feeling may have stemmed from seven years ago when the Duchess of Sussex branded the 77-year-old “divisive” and “misogynistic” in the run-up to the 2016 election.
During the radio interview, Trump also accused Meghan of treating the late Queen with “disrespect” and said he “didn’t like the idea they were getting US security when they came here”.
He told the show: “I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen. I became very friendly with the Queen. She was an incredible woman.
“I think it’s not a good situation going on with the two of them, but I didn’t know that they don’t like me.
“Somebody mentioned it might be possible, they wouldn’t be the only ones.”

But this isn’t the first time Trump has taken a swipe at Meghan over her alleged treatment of the Queen.
In March, he made similar comments during a world exclusive with Nigel Farage on GB News when he said: “She went through years and decades without controversy.
“You cannot be disrespectful to her and I think Meghan was very disrespectful to her, very disrespectful.”
Trump met the Queen during a state visit to the United Kingdon in June 2019 at a time when Meghan and Harry were still working members of the British Royal Family.
But the Duchess of Sussex – a vocal critic of Trump and his policies before meeting her current husband – missed the state events.
She cited her maternity leave and had recently given birth to the couple’s oldest son, Prince Archie.
