Meghan Markle tried to ‘MAKE PEACE’ between Harry and William – ‘Things got quite BAD’
There have been several reports over recent weeks there has been tension between Prince Harry and Prince William. But it is understood Meghan Markle has been trying to repair the relationship between the two Royal brothers, with the help of Kate, Duchess of Cambridge. Speaking on Yahoo UK’s The Royal Box, The Sun’s Royal correspondent Emily Andrews said: “From all the people that I’ve spoken to, my understanding was it was Harry and William who had the difficulties and had fallen out.
“Someone told me actually that it was Meghan who had tried to make peace, she had tried to calm things down between Harry and William.
“I think she’s a very good influence on Harry.”
The royal correspondent told The Sun’s ‘Fabulous Digital’ “things did get quite bad last year” between Harry and William,
But she added that is no longer the case anymore.
She said: “Things are much better now, now they’ve split their households and the foundation will also split.
“Things did get quite bad last year, but I think a bit of distance between the two brothers both personally and professionally has helped.”
There have also been reports over recent months of a rift between Meghan and Kate over the past year.
But Emily Andrews claimed that is not the case, and they are civil towards one another.
Meghan and Kate were also reportedly even playing Scrabble together at Christmas at Sandringham.
She continued: “I think it’s certainly fair to say that Meghan and Kate are very different women.
“Kate and Meghan are both professionals, they know that they have to get on and also they’re sister-in-laws.
“They don’t have to be best friends and apparently they were playing Scrabble together at Christmas at Sandringham.”
Meghan and Kate appeared to put rumours of a deepening rift between them to bed as they were spotted beaming and joking while sharing a Royal carriage during Trooping the Colour.
They were seen beaming and laughing as they shared a carriage with Prince Harry and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall to oversee the ceremony at Horse Guard Parade.
Meghan, donning a simple blue frock with a matching feathered hat, made her first public appearance since presenting her son Archie to the world shortly after his birth back in May.
The Duchess made her debut as a member of the royal family at last year’s event where she wore a nude off-the-shoulder dress and matching hat and waved to royal fans who donned Union Jack flags in honour of the monarch.
