A close friend of Meghan’s said the former Sussex Royal wants Archie to get involved with other children. One of Meghan’s initial ideas was a Mommy and Me class, but she was forced to rule it out due to her high profile, MailOnline reports.
The friend explained despite her desire to get involved she was too famous to join the group.
The pal said: “Meghan said she would love to be part of a ‘Mommy and Me’ community, but knows this is impossible even if there was no COVID-19 because of who she is.
“She said she’s just too well-known to do normal things.”
The Sussex Royals moved to Los Angeles in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, meaning Archie has not had the chance to get involved with other kids his age.
Cooped-up in movie mogul Tyler Perry’s mansion, Meghan’s friend revealed the former Suits actress has been connecting with buddies online.
The friend added: “Meghan does take advantage of connecting with others online and on Zoom, but says it’s just not the same as in person.
“The consistency of biweekly ‘Mommy and Me’ classes would be good for Archie and a place where she could just be a mum and make new lifelong friends.”
Andy McNab, former SAS and writer, told DailyStar.com that the couple are “too famous” to live in LA and have a normal life.
Speaking about how bodyguards might protect them, Mr McNab said: “The bodyguard’s job is dictated by what they are called the principals – the people that they are going to protect.
“So if they want to be mega-exposed all the time, obviously that’s gonna make their job even harder.
“Not only from credible threats, you are looking at fundamentalism, ie he’s a member of a royal family, but also the crazies.
“In Los Angeles, within that sort of media world, it’s full of crazies, absolutely full of crazies.”
