Meghan Markle to make her own baby food after converting Prince Harry to healthy lifestyle

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, has just weeks to go until she is due to give birth to her and Harry’s first child. The mother-to-be is reportedly being careful about the products she uses and what she eats during her pregnancy and is set to continue after the birth. One of Meghan’s friends said: “She’s being mindful of what she puts in her body and on her skin and even her at-home cleaning supplies.

“She’s hyperaware of what she’s using. She’s looking for natural things.

“She eats cleaner, and she’ll probably make her own baby food. It’s going to be clean living for this baby.”

The insider added that LA-born Meghan and Harry, who are moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor ahead of the birth, are closer than ever.

The source told US magazine People: “This is a very happy time for Meghan and Harry. This baby has brought them even closer.“

It follows reports last year that former actress Meghan has persuaded Harry to swap alcohol and caffeine for mineral water.

An insider said: “Considering he’s been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teenager, it’s quite an achievement.

“He was always fidgeting and on the go, always looking for the next thrill. He was a great laugh but it was always very full on.

“Now his new regime doesn’t make him the most entertaining party guest in the world, but he’s definitely more chilled and relaxed.”

Another source added that Meghan has also passed on her love of yoga to Harry.

They said: “All she did was show him there’s another way to live and he’s become a huge fan. He eats well, doesn’t poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier.”

And Meghan “dramatically changed the contents of Harry’s fridge” after they started their romance, according to royal author Andrew Morton.

Writing in Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, he added: “Meghan never leaves home unless she has hummus, carrots, green juice, almonds and chia seed pudding in the fridge.

“When California met Kensington there was only going to be one victor in the dietary smack-down.”

Meghan and Harry’s baby is due in April or early May.

Speculation is high over where Meghan will give birth, with recent reports that she could follow in the Duchess of Cambridge’s footsteps by choosing the exclusive Lindo Wing.
