Meghan Markle ‘schooling the nanny’ in how she wants baby Archie raised before Africa trip
Meghan Markle and her nanny have an opportunity to bond while the Duchess of Sussex is currently on maternity leave according to royal commentator Victoria Arbiter. Ms Arbiter added Meghan will be “schooling” the nanny on how she wants baby Archie raised. Ms Arbiter hinted that the pair would also be preparing for their trip to Africa while they balance their responsibility of raising their first child.
The royal expert told The Morning Show: “The nanny will be very much there to offer support.
“As you were describing before about members of staff having long irregular hours, the royals themselves have pretty irregular hours.
“They could be at engagement in the morning, over the weekend sometimes there are events at night.
“They really never know what they are going to be doing from day to day.
“The nanny is there to really offer around the clock assistance.
“Now what is lovely about this younger generation, many have credited with Dianna of paving the way but Kate and William have both been able to have quality time at home with their children.
“The children turn to their parents when they need something, not the hired help.
“I think Harry and Meghan are looking to follow that mould as well.
“For the time being the nanny is there, as we understand it, just during the week.
“I think really this is has been very smart of Harry and Meghan because she is on maternity leave.
“This is giving her the opportunity to school the nanny in the way that she wants to raise her baby.
“It gives the two of them an opportunity to sort of really bond before the hard work really starts when Meghan gets back into her full-time royal schedule.”
