Meghan Markle revealed: Friend speaks out over privacy row – ‘Tough role’
Adam Godley revealed his experiences of working with Meghan on the hit TV show in 2011, years before she would become a member of the royal family. He said he sympathised with her after she was criticised for keeping little Archie Harrison’s christening private. Godley said: “I don’t know the details of it so I really can’t comment.
“I know she’s got a great heart, she’s a wonderful person.
“We’ll see. It’s a very tough role she’s taken on.”
He also revealed the Meghan he knew on the set of Suits would have “laughed” if she knew one day she would become a Duchess.
He said on TalkRadio: “What can I say? Harry made a most fantastic choice.
“I think if you had told me or her at that point what would happen I think we’d have laughed.
“But there you go, life is spectacular and magical and amazing.”
It comes after Meghan herself admitted the public “don’t make it easy” during a candid conversation with music star Pharrell Williams.
The Duchess of Sussex met the icon at the premiere of the new Lion King film.
Williams told her: “I’m so happy for your union.
“Love is amazing. Love is beautiful. Don’t ever take that for granted.
“But what it means in today’s climate, I just wanted to tell you it’s so significant for many of us … we cheer you guys on.”
Meghan responded: “Oh, thank you. They don’t make it easy.”
