Meghan Markle resented fact Prince Archie was treated differently
Meghan Markle reportedly resented that Prince Archie was treated differently to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, according to a new royal book.
Omid Scobie’s Endgame details how Prince Harry believed his son Prince Archie faced “more security threats”, but less security.
Within the book, Scobie claims that Prince Harry believed his young son to be under serious threat, while the children of Prince William and Princess Kate had a “bigger security team.
Scobie mentions in his book that Meghan Markle came under significant criticism before the birth of Prince Archie, with many conspiracy theories spreading around the Duchess of Sussex faking her pregnancy.
One of the Sussexes most senior aides at the time said Meghan was living in fear.

They said: “She’s living in fear. Not just for herself but for the baby. You can’t expect anyone to live like that”.
Scobie wrote in his book: “But the fact that Archie faced more security threats than other royal children did not translate to additional safety measures. Hierarchy still took precedence, and as seventh in line to the throne at the time, Archie was not considered a particularly high priority.”
Scobie noted that Prince Harry was “very aware” of the fact that the Cambridges had a “bigger security team”.
“No one is thinking about the fact that my wife is biracial, my son is mixed race”, Prince Harry told an aide in 2019, it is claimed in Endgame.
He reportedly added: “None of this registers to anyone.”
Scobie’s book has detailed multiple allegations around the treatment of the Sussexes, following their decision to step back from royal working duties in 2020.

Among multiple bombshell claims, Scobie alleges that Prince William “covertly sanctioned” leaks to reporters about Prince Harry, and that William ignored Harry’s texts on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s death, forcing Harry to charter a £30k flight from Luton AIrport to Aberdeen.
Scobie also claims Princess Kate “spent more time talking about Meghan [Markle]”, than with her, and that the Princess of Wales “shudders and giggles” every time she hears Meghan’s name, adding that Kate “immediately detected a rival.”
The book, written by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s unofficial biographer, has pointed major criticisms at the Royal Family, with Scobie particularly scathing towards Prince William and Princess Kate, who he dubbed “Katie Keen”, and labelled a “part-time working royal”.
Buckingham Palace has been largely silent in their response to the book, with an aide dismissing Endgame as just another book on the Windsors that is not worthy of official comment.
