Meghan Markle pregnant: Why Meghan and Harry WON’T announce pregnancy this year
Meghan Markle, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison to the world last May. The royal youngster turns eight-months-old today and judging by a gorgeous new snap of him shared by Meghan and Harry a few days ago, he is doing extremely well.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to be in their element as parents.
While their public appearances with Archie have been rare in every picture of them with their baby they seem to be over the moon.
As well as the special New Year snap of Harry cuddling Archie in front of a lake in Canada, the couple’s Christmas card featured their son in the foreground.
Meghan has been swamped by pregnancy rumours in recent months but one royal commentator has claimed the couple have no plans to announce baby news again this year.

Reflecting on the royals’ six-week break way in Canada royal correspondent and expert Omid Scobie told OK Magazine: “[Canada] is a safe place for the couple – they were able to go unnoticed there for a while.
“It’s an important place for Meghan and she has family and friends there. It’s also part of the Commonwealth.
“We’ll see them take on more work there, perhaps even a tour, but I don’t think they’re house-hunting yet.”
Mr Scobie, who hosts The Heir Pod said work will be the couple’s main focus this year and another baby is not on the cards yet.
Meghan and Harry are expected to return to Britain from Canada any day and a big announcement about their Sussex Royal foundation is expected soon.
How and where the couple choose to launch their charitable venture will be a key indicator as to their future within the royal family, one royal expert has claimed.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “We await the launch of Harry and Meghan’s Sussex Royal Foundation to discover their intentions.
“It all depends on what they mean to do with the Sussex Royal Foundation, where it will be based, what celebrity links there will be and whether it will have a branch in the USA.
“They are expected to make their plans clear soon.
“There are likely to be important celebrity links to their future charitable work such as Harry’s collaborating with Oprah Winfrey for a TV documentary series on mental health due to be aired this year.”
