Meghan Markle and Harry 'nowhere near' Queen says Levin
Meghan Markle, 39, and Prince Harry, 36, are reportedly set to launch their own honours list to highlight the work being done to promote causes close to the couple’s heart. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hope to celebrate “charitable service, education, science, literature, racial justice, gender equity, environmental stewardship, youth empowerment, health and mental health”, according to The Sun. But royal biographer Angela Levin has accused them of acting like children and said they should not try to compete with the Queen.
Speaking to talkRADIO, Ms Levin said: “I always feel that they’ve reached the end but they somehow manage to dig themselves further down.
“I actually think that to try and compete with Her Majesty the Queen’s honours list is like children playing mummies and daddies.

“They’re nowhere near the rank.

“I’m astonished that Harry has given up one iota about his family and his wonderful grandmother.
“He was such a great man when I met him and spent over a year with him and now he looks terrified whenever he speaks as if he’s going to get a telling off from Meghan and to agree to something like that is nonsense.”
She added: “It’s just tragic and I don’t think anyone will take notice of them.
“It’s not going to mean that they will have more respect.”
