The Duchess of Sussex closed her lifestyle blog months before she and Prince Harry announced their engagement in 2017. But royal commentator Neil Sean has claimed Meghan believes it is a “very good time” to restart The Tig.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mr Sean said: “According to a very good source, it appears that Meghan, alongside Harry, think this would be a very good time to restart The Tig.”

Mr Sean said Meghan’s blog could be even more successful than actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop brand.

He said: “Sources close to Harry and Meghan feel that this could be a way forward, and of course, keeping their environmentally-friendly credentials going.

“Everything you can imagine will be vegan themed, vegetarian themed.

“This was something that Meghan and Harry simply couldn’t do as part of the British monarchy.

“But her close advisors think she could easily eclipse the very successful Gwyneth Paltrow.”

Meghan shut The Tig – which featured food, travel, fashion and beauty – in April 2017.

A message on the website says: “To all my Tig friends.

“After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig.

“What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity.

“You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy.

“Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being ‘the change you wish to see in the world’.

“Above all, don’t ever forget your worth – as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough.

“Thank you for everything.”

Later that year in November Meghan and Harry announced their engagement.

And the couple tied the knot in May 2018.

However the Sussexes quit royal duties last year for new lives of personal and financial freedom in America.
