Meghan Markle is ‘idealistic’ and Kate Middleton uninterested says body language expert
Judi James was speaking to the Daily Mirror as the two Duchesses joined their children to cheer on their husbands at a charity polo showdown. In the glorious sunshine at the Bilingbear Polo Club in Berkshire, the two royals seemed dedicated and devoted to their children. Pictures showed little interaction with the two despite spending much of the event in close proximity.
Ms James explained: “With no signs here of any collaboration or teaming-up between Kate and Meghan it’s clear both women have their hands too full with their children to bother with chats and sister-in-law poses.”
She goes on to note it may have been difficult to interact due to the ages of their children.
Meghan and Prince Harry’s son Archie is just over two months old.
Kate’s children with Prince William meanwhile, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are 5, 4 and 1 respectively.
Ms James explains: “Whereas mothers of toddlers can put them together and watch as they play Archie is still at the stage where Meghan will be giving him undivided attention while cradling him in her arms.
“She looks besotted with him, kissing his head and lifting him to gaze at his face with undisguised love.
“Kate meanwhile has her entire attention taken by her more mobile children, with even little Louis walking about looking active and confident.”
William and Kate have been married for over eight years now, whereas Meghan and Harry tied the knot only last May.
Ms James discussed how playful Kate’s children looked: “They look playful and energetic and even when Kate had Louis scooped up in her arms it’s clear he’s keen to be off playing around on the grass.
“Meghan’s body language as a mother currently looks idealistic while Kate is at the active stage of herding and playing with her children, trying to keep them all happy and occupied.”
Both women will accompany their husbands on royal trips later this year.
Kate will head to Pakistan and Meghan to South Africa.
Though Meghan will bring Archie, Kate will leave George, Charlotte and Louis at home.
