Lorraine said: “Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, so what is going to happen to them?
“Because you know I think they should take some time off.”
“Are they going to do that?”
Mr Wootton replied: “What I have learned is that after six weeks in California they are considering a potential part-time move there.
“We could be looking at a situation where they might spend great swathes of the year in the US.”
He added the move was still very much up in the air and “hasn’t been decided.”
Mr Wootton said: “Now this hasn’t been decided yet.
“They will have to work out location, work out exactly where they want to be.
“But the suggestions are very much California because that is, of course, where Meghan’s mother Doria is.”

- The major thing stopping Meghan Markle and Harry from leaving UK
Lorraine expressed fears if Meghan used the trip to visit her father in Mexico it could “open up old wounds.”
She said: “Okay, and if she goes to America she could under the radar go and see her dad.
“He could then terribly open old wounds.
“It would not be a good thing to do.”
Mr Wooton nodded in agreement at Lorraine’s suggestion it could prove painful for the Duchess to meet her father, although the trip from LA to visit him in Mexico would not take long.
Amid growing speculation, Meghan and Harry could choose to ditch Britain long-term one royal commentator has claimed they are unlikely to make the move for two major reasons.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “There have been rumours for many months that Harry and Meghan had plans that involved moving from Britain for at least part of the year.”
“However it remains totally unclear how such an arrangement would work in practice.
“In the ITV documentary, Harry appears to examine the prospect of having a base in Cape Town and then discards the possibility.
“We know Africa has a special place in their hearts.
“They might use their positions as President and Vice-President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust to spend more time abroad.
“They might conceivably choose the USA. Speculation continues about this.
“There would, however, be huge security costs and what exactly would they do and where? Also, in time, there is the matter of Archie’s upbringing.
“There are no clear answers to these pivotal questions.”
