Meghan Markle heartbreak: Expert’s ‘shock’ at Sussexes resignation ‘Has it come to this?’

Mr Bradby, a journalist, and novelist, candidly revealed on tonight’s ITV Harry and Meghan Markle: A Royal Crisis his surprise at hearing that the royal couple were considering splitting their time across England and North America, as they seek to be “financially independent’ from the crown. He said: “I was like wow, had it got to this point, I knew things went ideal but I really didn’t know. I got the impression they hadn’t decided before they got on the plane exactly how honest they were or weren’t going to be.”

Mr Bradby has been close with the Royal Family for several years and was the first person to carry out the official interview of Kate and Prince William after their engagement announcement.

He goes on to speculate their intentions behind the hastily dropped bombshell that blindsided the royal family, including the Queen, adding: “My best guess is they wanted that to be a pressure release valve.”

Mr Bradby also believes they were preparing the ground, for a new future that could see them forging a profitable empire stateside.

With rumours already swirling that they will charge hefty sums for public speeches, and set to write tell-all memoirs that could earn them mega millions.

When asked by presenter and interviewer Chris Ship whether the statement released by The Sussex Royal Instagram account was perhaps a “warning shot” to the royal family, Mr. Bradby responded with sheer disbelief.

He continued: “I don’t think they thought about it.”

“That implies a degree of calculation that I don’t think is there.”

Only last October, Mr. Bradby had interviewed the Sussexes for am explosive ITV documentary, that detailed their struggles being in the public eye.

Meghan admitted to Mr. Bradby at the time that she was “not really ok.” with the intense pressure she felt like a royal.

Mr. Bradby in his interview with Ship makes reference to that particular admission from Meghan, by going on to reveal that he believes they felt “pressured” to release their statement last week.

“I think it was like we’re finding this situation really difficult, we’ve got to say something because the pressure’s building up inside us. “

One user said: “#aroyalcrisis Who the hell do Harry and Meghan think they are? This feels like an abdication with a taxpayer-funded safety net.”

A second responded “It is so so sad! #aroyalcrisis Harry has been a huge asset to the Royal Family, UK, Charities and armed forces. Hope it doesn’t end in tears for him. #harrymeghan

A third stated: “ Just let them go. No title, no taxpayers money, nothing. End of crisis #aroyalcrisis

Tomorrow crisis talks will be held at Sandringham to discuss Meghan and Prince Harry’s future.

Hosting the meeting will be the Queen, with Prince Charles and Prince William joining them.

Meghan who has already flown back to Canada to reunite with baby Archie is rumoured to be joining the conversation by conference call.

The focal point of the meeting will be how much should the Sussexes will receive from Charles’ estate and how freely they will be able to accept commercial deals.
