Meghan Markle birthday: THIS is how Duchess and family will spend her birthday this week
July is proving a good month for Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex. Not only will she celebrate her first birthday as a mother to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, but she has also returned from maternity leave with a bang. Just this week, she revealed her collaboration with British Vogue, guest-editing the landmark September issue.
So how will the Duchess celebrate her 38th birthday on Sunday, August 4?
In traditional Meghan and Harry style, the official birthday plans are being kept private.
But one source has revealed that it’s likely to be a low-key affair.

They said: “Meghan’s world is pretty much just Archie.
“She’s so in love with being a mom, her mind’s on her baby boy, not her birthday.”
They added that Meghan has always preferred to keep her birthdays small and surrounded by loved ones.
They said: “She prefers to use her day more introspectively.
“She’d much rather have a low-key dinner with her loved ones over a big blowout party.”
Meghan has spoken in the past about her birthday, and what she wishes for each year.
Writing in her now-closed blog, The Tig, the Duchess said: “My mom has always said that birthdays are your own personal New Year.
“Your own chance to make resolutions just for yourself and what you prognosticate for your year ahead.”
She wrote that all she wished for was “More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days filled with giggles and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals, and more inspiration. Always more inspiration.”

While Meghan might not wish for material gifts, her husband, Prince Harry, will surely be mulling over what to get the new mother.
The source said: “Harry is always very thoughtful so I’m sure he has some special things planned for her, but there’s nothing Meghan’s asked for.
“She’s very clear that she’s already got the best gift she could ever get – her little dream baby Archie.”
There are some reports the couple plan to head up to Balmoral to spend some time with the Queen in her Scotland retreat.
