Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made a TV host’s day as they ran into each other on the streets of Los Angeles.

TV personality Jen Su took to her Instagram on Wednesday (October 5) to reveal that she and her friends ran into Prince Harry’s wife, where they had a great conversation, and took a selfie to commemorate the occasion.

“Arrived in L.A. and ran right into the fabulous Meghan Markle. Amazing way to start the trip!” she wrote in her first post.

In a follow-up post featuring the same selfie, the Pennsylvania native revealed that the Duchess was quite the conversationalist. “Landed in LA and on our way to dinner, we ran into Meghan Markle. Totally low key and super friendly, nice conversation,” she wrote.

Known mostly for her red carpet work for outlets like Sky News, Jen Su previously was the winner of the Taiwanese version of “American Idol.”

As a result of her popularity from the show, Su released four albums.

Originally born in Jenkinsville, PA, of Chinese extraction, Su is married to Del Bruce Levin of Bryn Mawr, PA.

Their marriage was announced in the society pages of The New York Times.

Markle, meanwhile, is set to return to New York with Prince Harry next week for the first time since the catastrophic car chase in New York City that led to comparisons to the Prince’s late mother, Princess Diana.

The Duke & Duchess of Sussex will be hosting their first-ever in-person event on behalf of their Archewell Foundation, in the hopes of showing support on World Mental Health Day.

“The families have been engaged with The Archewell Foundation for the past year, bolstering community and driving towards solutions,” a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told People about the trip.

“Together, they are united in their mission to share personal experiences, data, and research to ensure the same does not happen to other families.”
