Meghan Markle, 39, has appeared on TV for the first time since her and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. Meghan appeared as part of the Global Citizen VAX Live concert with a pre-recorded video message in which she said women had been disproportionately impacted by Covid-19. US Weekly correspondent Christina Garibaldi has said the Duchess of Sussex is “about to give birth any day”.
Discussing the video, she said: “She looks fantastic. She’s about to pop any single day and she’s just so excited about welcoming a daughter into the world and used this platform to empower women, tell people to get vaccinated and using her voice for good.”
She added: “As we know Harry did make a public appearance in person, she decided to tape something from home because as we said, she’s about to give birth any day.
“This will probably be the last public appearance that she makes before she gives birth, I would imagine.”
While royal expert Sam Rubin explained the “media savvy” Duchess revealed how far along she was in her pregnancy.
Speaking to the Australian programme Today, Mr Rubin said: “Meghan Markle has always been extraordinarily media savvy.
“Even the quality of not just what she was saying but the way it was shot, the three different angles, which delicately revealed how far she was along.
“All these things are very thought out and calculated.”
