Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s official website for their charitable organisation, Archewell, went live on Tuesday. While the website reveals little information about the foundation, royal fans have found a way to expose a hidden message.

The launch of the website was not publicised beforehand, coming as a pleasant surprise to royal fans.

Archewell, named after their 17-month-old son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, will be the home of the couple’s work as they start their new lives in the US.

The foundation was meant to officially launch in March, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex delayed the project due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new website features few details, with the logo in capital letters on a plain cream background.

It also features the dictionary definition of the word that makes the brand, “Arche” and “Well”.

It states: “Arche… Greek word meaning ‘source of action’.

“Well… a plentiful source or supply; a place we go to dig deep.”

The new website offers fans the option to join a mailing list and receive emails about Archewell’s activities and initiatives.

But aside from the definition and the opportunity to join the mailing list, the site doesn’t offer much information on what’s to come.

However, royal fans have spotted a way to reveal a hidden message which offers more details about the foundation.

If you share the link to the website, another line of text pops up.

It reads: “Archewell is an organization committed to creating compassionate communities online and off, to serve our collective wellbeing.”

The website provides a Beverly Hills postal address as well as an email address to contact.

Meghan and Harry moved to California earlier this year, following their official split from the Royal Family.

The couple are currently living in an £11million mansion in Santa Barbara.

In March, the Duke and Duchess filed paperwork to register Archewell as an organisation.

At the time, they said in a statement: “Before SussexRoyal, came the idea of ‘Arche’ – the Greek word meaning ‘source of action’.

“We connected to this concept for the charitable organisation we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name.

“To do something of meaning, to do something that matters.

“Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon.

“We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right.”
