Meghan Markle and Harry have achieved goals says expert

Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s divorce from the Royal Family has worked. The royal commentator added that Duke and Duchess of Sussex have set themselves up for an “exciting” future after signing lucrative deals with both Netflix and Spotify.

Ms Nicholl said: “I think the general feeling is that the couple is sticking to the terms of the agreement.

“Everything that they are doing is keeping with that tone of respect towards the establishment and the monarchy.

“The general consensus is that this divorce has worked.

“Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the Royal Family to become independent and financially independent and they have absolutely achieved that this year.

“They have set themselves up for what looks set to be an exciting future.”

However, the Queen could demand more control over the couple during crunch talks regarding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s role within the Monarchy according to a royal commentator.

Her Majesty and the Sussexes are set to hold a review on the couple’s current relationship with the Royal Family.

The negotiations will take place 12 months after Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior working royals.

Meghan and Harry: Palace may want ‘more control’ says expert

Omid Scobie and Maggie Rulli discussed the possible outcomes of the crunch talks during the Heir podcast.

Ms Rulli said: I am curious about the review, it is two-sided right?

“Harry and Meghan need to sign off and say they are happy with how things are and that they do not want to review it.

“The Palace had to as well, is that correct?

“So could the Palace by any chance come to them and say we want a different relationship with you after these 12 months, we want more control, is that also a possibility?”

Mr Scobie responded: “I think as we have seen anything is possible in this situation.

“But this really was the Queen wanting to leave the door open to the couple so that they can find their feet and come back 12 months later.

“If things need to change or anything needs to be discussed, it can be.”
