The Platinum Jubilee will mark Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th anniversary of taking the throne. Meghan Markle has not attended a Royal Family event since leaving the monarchy in March 2020 while Prince Harry has returned to the UK for Prince Philip’s funeral and the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue at Kensington Gardens.
Ms Nicholl said: “Are we going to see them on the Palace balcony in June for the celebrations?
“If not that is going to look like a right royal snub.
“There will be a backlash.”
Ms Nicholl also discussed Prince Harry’s upcoming book on life in the Royal Family.
She told Royal Beat Prince Harry’s book announcement came as a shock to the Royal Family.
The royal commentator also claimed the Duke of Sussex continues to leave the Royal Family on the “back foot” by giving them little notice regarding his announcements.
Ms Nicholl claimed: “The Palace did not know, the family did not know.
“This has come as a real shock.”
