Royal expert Roya Nikkhah argued that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be looking at the best way to make a success of their futures going forward. While speaking on Lorraine, Ms Nikkhah revealed who she believed the couple will copy going forward. This comes after the pair have begun working on a new project with the streaming giant Netflix.
Ms Nikkhah said: “When Megxit happened I remember writing a piece about how I had told that sources close to Meghan and Harry said they were very keen to emulate what they did going forward on the Obama’s deal.
“Since leaving the White House the Obamas have sold rights to their autobiographies.
“They have also set up their own production company and have struck a deal with Netflix.”
The royal commentator claimed the Obamas have not overstepped the boundaries since no longer being political figures.

She continued: “They have done this without seemingly being too commercial.
“Frankly they have still retained their popularity.
“People in the industry have been a very big draw for other big names going to Netflix.
“We know that Meghan and Harry are very close to Barack Obama and Michelle so I suspect they have been on the phone quite a bit.”
Ms Nikkhah also reflected on what kind of involvement Meghan and Harry would have with their Netflix project.
She said: “First and foremost I suspect most of the programmes they work will not be about themselves.
“We are told that they have got an environmental documentary in the pipeline and there is also an animated series about empowering women.

“While Meghan has said and made it very clear she is not going to go back to acting, I think there will be an expectation.
“An expectation from viewers and Netflix for them to have some sort of on-camera involvement.
“This is because that is going to be the big draw as people are curious to see what they are going to say.”
The royal commentator concluded: “I don’t think the programmes won’t be about Harry and Meghan but they will probably appear in quite a few of them.”
