Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to announce new pregnancy ‘really soon’ – shock claim
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May, sending the public into a frenzy following months of waiting. While the Duke and Duchess are expected to have a busy schedule in the Autumn due to an official visit to Africa, Ms Bromley suggested the couple may return from the trip with a happy announcement. Asked by royal fans whether the couple could soon reveal they are expecting again, the E! Chief News correspondent said: “I do. And I think it will be really soon as well.
“I think she will be pregnant by this time next year. They have Africa in the fall, which will keep them really busy, so after that.”
Her forecast appeared to match an increase in bets placed with Coral over the past few days over an upcoming pregnancy announcement from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Company spokesman Alex Apati said: “We have been inundated over the last few days with bets on Harry and Meghan having a second baby in 2020, and as always with gambles of this kind, there is seldom smoke without fire.
“Baby fever could soon be taking over the Royal Family once again and despite only giving birth a matter of weeks ago, we wouldn’t be surprised if Harry and Meghan have the bug.”
Sources close to the couple told me that they really would love to have a big family
Katie Nicholl
Royal author Katie Nicholl has remained more cautious over the prospect of Archie soon becoming a big brother but she admitted sources close to the Duke and Duchess had reported the couple is looking to have a “big family.”
Ms Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight Meghan and Harry have been “loving parenthood” and could indeed decide to add a new member to their family next year.
She said: “I think it’s probably a little premature to be speaking about a second baby.
“That said, sources close to the couple told me that they really would love to have a big family.”
The royal author added: “They absolutely want siblings for Archie, so possibly we will have a pregnancy announcement for Meghan and Harry sometime next year.
“But for the moment, the focus is obviously on Archie.”
Indeed the couple has gone all out to ensure the privacy of their young son is protected despite Meghan and Harry’s prominent position within the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have come under fire over their decision to keep details of Archie’s christening secret, including the identities of their son’s godparents.

Queen’s former spokesperson Dickie Arbiter claimed documents containing details about Archie’s christening are being kept in a separate “register held privately by the royal household on behalf of the Crown”, and is subsequently not accessible to the public.
Mr Arbiter, however, added that despite Meghan and Harry’s best efforts to protect the identities of the godparents to their first child, their names will be kept on public record at Windsor Castle regardless, for historians to see.
He said: “Royal christening records are kept at Windsor Castle and one day we will find out whose Archie’s godparents but for now it will all be under wraps. I wouldn’t expect to get them for a number of years.
“It doesn’t matter the location of the event, the royal’s christening information will be put in the same book. Everything from who attended, who officiated the service and who the godparents are will be recorded.
“Of course, we might also find out who Archie’s are if the people themselves let it slip or the information somehow leaks.”
