Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved stateside shortly after their departure from the Royal Family in 2020. PR expert Lida Citreon claims that the couple, who still use their royal HRH titles, are “still trying to find footing” in California.

Speaking on the latest episode of Royally Us, host Christina Garibaldi asks Ms Citreon, “Do you feel like Harry and Meghan are, kind of, getting this blow after blow it seems like, in the press?”.

Ms Citroen replied: “I think they are still trying to find their footing, is what it looks like.

“They’re trying a lot of different things and some of them are giving them footing and some of them are feeling a little slippery, prehaps that’s what we are seeing”.

She added: “As they’re going through this, the rest of us are watching and we’re drawing assumptions and we’re making, you know, we’re forming opinions about what we believe is happening.

“Some of this can also just be them trying to figure out who they are going to be in this world.

“Kind of normal”.

Host Christina Garibaldi said: “I agree with you, and I think that’s kind of what happened with their spotify programme, because we’ve only got one episode of that and that was a few months ago.

“It seem like maybe, they’re going back to the drawing board when it comes to that.

“It’s kind of like they’re throwing darts at a wall, and seeing what sticks well”.

Prince Harry Jubilee visit 'all about branding' says Vickers

In January 2020, Meghan and Harry announced they were to step down as working royals and “work to become financially independent”

Despite this, they vowed to continue “to fully support Her Majesty The Queen”.

They declared that their decision came “after many months of reflection and internal discussions”.

After their royal exit, Harry and Meghan first moved to Canada, but decided to settle in Los Angeles shortly after.
